Howdy!
I’m a Korean American writer whose work focuses on politics and policy, art, video games, and identity — sometimes all at once. My work has appeared in Western City magazine, Cal Cities Advocate, Crocker Art Museum, The Gamer, Unwinnable, whynow Gaming, and a few other places.
I’m currently the managing editor for the League of California Cities’ online publications, where I focus on some of the most pressing issues facing California, such as a lack of affordable housing and climate change. Before that, I spent most of my career in the art world and occasionally relapse by ruminating about the intersection of identity, pop culture, and video games.
I use my writing to elevate and amplify the work of others — especially those in or from marginalized spaces. Click here to see my full work history.
