Howdy!

I’m a Korean American writer whose work focuses on politics and policy, art, video games, and identity — sometimes all at once. My work has appeared in Western City magazine, Cal Cities Advocate, Crocker Art Museum, The Gamer, Unwinnable, whynow Gaming, and a few other places.

I’m currently the managing editor for the League of California Cities’ online publications, where I focus on some of the most pressing issues facing California, such as a lack of affordable housing and climate change. I’ve spent most of my career in the art world and occasionally relapse by ruminating about the intersection of identity, pop culture, and video games.

I use my writing to elevate and amplify the work of others — especially those in or from marginalized spaces. Click here to see my full work history.
